Established DNA Testing Paternity and Forensic Laboratory seeking an Office Support/DNA Collection Specialist Team Member.

Office Support/DNA Collection Specialist is responsible for a variety of phone, office, clerical and administrative support for a busy Paternity and Forensic DNA laboratory located in suburban Chicago.

Major duties of this group include phone, e-mail and individual support for paternity and forensic clients to the laboratory. The clerical and administrative responsibilities for paternity and forensic testing require attention to detail, accurate recording of administrative information and consistent follow through on clerical and financial facts.

The ideal individual will have relaxed and pleasant phone answering skill, good general office habits, superb attention to detail and the ability to regain work momentum after numerous interruptions.

Direct customer contact including on site collections for paternity and forensic analysis from part of the position’s regular duties.

Additional responsibilities include identifying, contacting and contracting with new sources of paternity cases and maintaining sales contact with existing affiliates who provide paternity samples and cases.

Additional clerical and administrative duties in support of Equipment and Reagent Sales, including preparing shipping documents, logging order and phone triage and reception responsibilities are also required.

This position requires the ability to individually manage the office responsibilities on Saturday mornings.

Job Requirements
